Don't like the idea of guests attached to their phones throughout the ceremony and reception? You can choose to have an unplugged wedding. You can provide a phone check at the door (like a coat check), or add a note to your wedding website or ceremony program asking guests to refrain from taking photos or video. You can word it nicely -- something like: "We want our guests to be truly present at our wedding so you can truly enjoy the ceremony and reception, so we ask that you please refrain from taking photos or video today and just have fun!"

Pantone® has recently unveiled their top 10 colors for the 2014 Spring and Summer Wedding Season and what a beautiful array of colors they are! Here they are in order - Dazzling Blue, Violet Tulip, Radian Orchid Celosia Orange, Freesia, Cayenne, Placid Blue, Paloma, Sand and Hemlock. I must say as a wedding planner I am like a little kid on Christmas morning when these colors are unveiled each year.
